The Super Eagles of Nigeria are slated to tackle South Africa at the Peace Stadium on Wednesday with the hope of securing a spot in the final

dashciti.com can exclusively report that the Super Eagles of Nigeria are fully prepared to face South Africa’s Bafana Bafana in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations semi-final clash.

Following Nigeria’s 1-0 victory over Angola, courtesy of Ademola Lookman’s decisive strike, they have secured a spot in the semi-final against South Africa. Although today’s training session for the Nigerian national team was conducted behind closed doors, there were no reported injuries during or after the clash with Angola.

As a result, the Super Eagles are expected to field their key players, including their standout goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, and the in-form Atalanta forward, Lookman, who has netted three goals in Nigeria’s last three matches.

William Troost-Ekong, who mentioned managing a knock ahead of the Angola game, has been able to feature effectively for Nigeria, leading the defense despite the minor injury.

Similarly, Alhassan Yusuf, recovering from a knock sustained in the opening game against Equatorial Guinea, has fully recuperated and earned valuable minutes in the match against Angola.

The upcoming clash between Nigeria and South Africa will take place at the Peace Stadium in Bouake, with Jose Peseiro’s team aiming to provide fans with another reason to cheer.

Super Falcons of Nigeria goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie, has become the first African and Nigerian player to be crowned the best goalkeeper in the French D1 Arkema (women’s league).

The 23-year-old shot-stopper cemented her status as one of the best goalkeepers in the world following her remarkable achievements and heroic penalty-savings this season for Paris FC.

Nnadozie beat out stiff competition from Olympic Lyon’s Christiane Endler and Katarzyna Kiedrzynek of Paris SG to claim the coveted individual accolade.

“It’s very pleasing because she deserves it and she achieved an exceptional Champions League and not only on penalties,” said Pierre Ferracci, the president of Nnadozie’s club, Paris FC.

Michael Olise would be open to a summer transfer to Manchester United should the Red Devils firm up their interest in him, 90min have been informed.

Despite battling through this season with various injury problems, the 22-year-old has remained one of Crystal Palace’s best players whenever fit.

It was initially reported that Olise was a transfer target for United this summer as he was admired by both the old and new regimes at Old Trafford following Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS’ onboarding.

The Red Devils could shift several players at the end of the season, Anthony Martial will leave when his contract expires, Antony could be sold and Christian Eriksen’s future is up in the air, and a versatile player like Olise would help cover the creative void from some or all of those departures.

90min understands that if United were to step up their interest, then Olise would be keen on joining the club.
